dew drops that tumble from the heavens
kiss the ground as dew drops do, but then, like magic, they
turn the canvas up above from black to amethyst then orange
sunlight bleeds into these empty rooms wherever it can.
the blinds crunch as they open, letting in a pool of dusty light.
I look up at the sky, as it's rubbing its eyes.
